What are cryptocurrencies?
It is known as cryptocurrencies to the currencies generated from the technology of algorithms to make the exchange of cryptocurrencies an inviolable way. The first cryptocurrency known as Bitcoin (BTC) appeared on January 3, 2009, created by Satoshi Nakamoto from which it is not known exactly if it was a single person or a group of developers.
A characteristic of cryptocurrencies is that they are decentralized systems, so they do not need a financial entity to manage to operate with correction, this, in turn, causes a high volatility in the price.
Currently, there are more than 1,800 types of cryptocurrencies, some more relevant than others and with different protocols. Some such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin need a data validation process which is done through systems known as miners in exchange for these systems receive a commission for being the way used to validate the transaction.
